Case in point, before staining and installing this intricate panel pattern one plank at a time, Mansa painted the entire wall with Black Cat KM4883 The result is a quiet but impressive architectural texture without any distraction. by contrast simply panting the trim in a soft warm gray trim detail was a simple touch that added luxury hotel glamour to her bathroom. Krishna proves that black and white rooms don't have to be boring and flat. By working in areas of gray, you can create layers of warmth and beauty and are subtle and refined, and well worth the effort.

Another vibrant One Room Challenge Interior Designer to call on us for paint is Susan Hill who's lived in her house with her family in North Carolina for 9 years. Needless to say, her girls are grown up now and ready for a playroom upgrade.

A licensed and experienced interior designer, Susan tackled the project from the ceiling fixture down to the carpet to create a space that's as sophisticated as it is cozy.

Twice a year design influencers are selected to share their makeovers with weekly updates about their plans, their product and color decisions, the problems they encounter, and how they bring it all together.

Dominique chose our Durapoxy HP paint, which is formulated specifically for cabinets and other high touch surfaces. She used White Linen (KM4591) for the upper cabinets and Yin Mist (KM4897) for lower cabinets and doors.

关于设计About the design

这套房子整体户型十分方正，但尴尬的承重结构几乎无处不在，如果想大拆大改，显然是不可能了，但原始户型又存在很多问题。
1. 厨房就在入户处，使用空间较小，而且采光效果也很差。

2. 餐厅位置很尴尬，南侧被厨房实墙占据空间，北侧又要考虑过道动线

3. 格局过于规整，如果直接定制储物柜，反而会浪费空间。
针对以上问题，我们做出如下对应设计：

1. 拆除厨房非承重墙体，释放占据餐厅的实墙空间，将冰箱外置，最大化利用空间。

2. 餐厅直接与厨房吧台相连，让出过道的走动位置，保证过道的动线通畅。

3. 将部分墙体改为薄墙，储物柜采用内嵌设计。

入户空间

业主提出想要开放式厨房，拆除厨房多余墙体。少了实墙的封闭阻隔，厨房已不再是一个人忙碌的空间，而是下班之后一家人在一起，可以一边做饭一边聊天，享受烟火气的一方天地。

开放式厨房延伸吧台与餐厅共享，当三五好友来家中做客时，一伸手可以在吧台共享做好的甜品与咖啡。

从餐厅往里踱步，就能将整个家最完美的视角收入眼底，随着室外光线的变化，每次还能欣赏不同的风景线。

 
搬了新家之后，业主干脆一口气养了三只猫。选择在光线最好的阳台搭建了猫窝，正式迈入“猫奴一族”。

书房

Study

在沙发背后，就是业主最喜欢的书房。我们将原有墙体打通，再用玻璃隔断构建墙体，即使一人在书房加班办公，这时候有家人在客厅交流，空间与空间之间，已然没有了界限之分。

因为业主一直有个想做榻榻米的想法，所以我们在办公桌旁设计了一组榻榻米，收纳换季衣物也有了足够的空间，只需走几步便能躺下休憩片刻。

业主的生活就是崇尚极简，所以卧室的设计相对极简舒适，大白墙搭配灰色系的床品，让人久看不腻。
